Beginning of Sisterhood
In February 2020, ten women in Baltimore, Maryland, came together with a shared vision — to create the Sisterhood Nonprofit Organization. Their goal was simple yet powerful: to make a difference in the lives of children and families facing cancer in Ethiopia.

Just as their journey began, the world was struck by the COVID-19 pandemic. Like many others, they were forced to pause their plans for a time. But even through uncertainty, their dream and determination never faded.
Renewed Strength & Purpose
Today, the sisters stand stronger than ever, united by compassion and purpose. What began as a small initiative has grown into a heartfelt movement that uplifts and supports families affected by childhood cancer.

Sisterhood continues to build a lasting connection between communities — from Baltimore to Addis Ababa. Their mission is to bring people together, share hope, and pass on the spirit of sisterhood to future generations.
